Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Charoen Thanasukolwit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lewis is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Baby by Me. Charoen Thanasukolwit has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jake Lewis!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Joseph Jones and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Lewis clobbers Thanasukolwit with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Thanasukolwit throws a head kick but Lewis moves out of range.
Lewis connects with a body shot that sends Thanasukolwit's belly button to the back.
Lewis lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Thanasukolwit is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Lewis.
Lewis stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Lewis ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Lewis looks to land a combination but Thanasukolwit avoids it well.
Lewis comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Lewis connects with a body shot that sends Thanasukolwit's belly button to the back.

Lewis lands with a nice combination. Thanasukolwit backs away looking to recover.

Thanasukolwit is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Lewis pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Thanasukolwit back to the cage. Lewis follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Lewis lands a nice hook to Thanasukolwit's body. Thanasukolwit takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Thanasukolwit feints a jab promting Lewis to slip. Thanasukolwit then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Lewis slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Lewis throws a good cross that connects.
Thanasukolwit really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Lewis digs a good body shot into Thanasukolwit's ribs.
Lewis bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Thanasukolwit's head.
Lewis lunges at Thanasukolwit with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Thanasukolwit's hand.
Lewis throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Thanasukolwit on the side of the head.

Thanasukolwit tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lewis swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Lewis jabs Thanasukolwit right on the nose. Thanasukolwit blinks but takes it well.

Lewis stuns Thanasukolwit with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Lewis lands with a shot to the body.
Thanasukolwit throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lewis's waist but Lewis gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Thanasukolwit off to one side.
Thanasukolwit is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lewis scores with a shot to the body.
Lewis looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
A jab from Lewis does it's job there.
Lewis lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Thanasukolwit tries to move into range but Lewis moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Lewis misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Lewis uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Lewis scores with a crisp jab that stopped Thanasukolwit in his tracks.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Lewis rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Thanasukolwit moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Thanasukolwit throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Lewis counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Thanasukolwit looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Lewis scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

and Lewis counters with a left and a right that stings Thanasukolwit.

Lewis looks to land a combination. Thanasukolwit sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Thanasukolwit throws a push kick but Lewis slaps the foot to one side.

Lewis lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lewis scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Thanasukolwit tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Lewis manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Thanasukolwit throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

and Lewis connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Lewis throws a shot to the body.
Thanasukolwit takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

A shot to the liver by Lewis. Beautiful body shot.
Lewis lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Lewis.


Thanasukolwit is rocked!
Lewis wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Oh Thanasukolwit is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Thanasukolwit looks up at the clock. Bad move! Lewis lands a right hand from hell, dropping Thanasukolwit. Lewis pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jake Lewis!
Jake Lewis seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
