Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hector Reyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mati Matt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mati Matt!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Chris Saunders and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reyes closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Matt's guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Matt keeping full guard, as Reyes tries to pass.
Reyes controls from within his opponent's guard.
Reyes throws a big elbow that misses.
Reyes working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Matt is working an open guard so Reyes takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Matt gets tackled into the cage by Reyes. Reyes maintains the clinch.
Reyes is trying to trip Matt. He has hold of a leg but Matt is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Reyes persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Matt looks winded!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Reyes accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Reyes postures up in Matt's guard and throws a big left but Matt blocks it.
Matt can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Reyes controls the pace.
Reyes might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Reyes wants to pass the guard but Matt is keeping the position.
Reyes is pushing down on Matt's leg trying to pass to half guard. Matt is fighting to maintain full guard but Reyes has managed to sneak the leg through.

Reyes is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Reyes trying to control the action but Matt is working from the bottom.
Reyes sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Matt defending well though.
Matt is defending against the submission attempts here by Reyes.
Reyes looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Reyes is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Reyes is keen to just control but Matt is a slippery customer.
Matt looks like he's trying to stand up.

Reyes is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Matt sees it coming and defends easily.
