Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Abbott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Waltz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Waltz has chosen Hitler Style- Adolf Hitler as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jack Abbott! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rick Waltz! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, John Mangel and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by Waltz or perhaps it was just good defense by Abbott which made him look bad. Waltz looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Abbott lands with a slapping head kick. Abbott is looking to clinch but Waltz is avoiding it.
Abbott instigates a clinch. Waltz tries for a takedown. No joy.
Abbott's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Waltz is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Waltz takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Waltz keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Abbott has taken the fight to the clinch.
Abbott keeps control of Waltz as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Abbott drags the fight down to the ground.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Abbott manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Waltz must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Abbott bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Waltz's guard. Waltz is looking for a triangle but Abbott pushes his legs off easily.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Abbott tries to close the distance and clinch but Waltz swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Abbott tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Abbott scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Waltz stuffs the takedown. Waltz takes a kick to the side of the head. Abbott throws a nice looking combination but Waltz bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Waltz shoots for a takedown but Abbott saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Abbott tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Abbott throws a sloppy head kick and Waltz moves out of range easily. Waltz takes one on the button.

Jack Abbott is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Abbott tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Waltz manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Waltz tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Abbott blocks a head kick by Waltz.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Abbott throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Waltz wants to stand and escape but instead Abbott has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Abbott stands up from Waltz's guard - Abbott perhaps looking for a knockout. Abbott doesn't manage to clinch there - Waltz circles away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Abbott connects with a high kick. Abbott lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Abbott scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Abbott tries to bum rush Waltz with a series of wild strikes but Waltz uses good footwork to avoid the assault. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Waltz.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Waltz fails with the takedown and Abbott counters with a thumping low kick. Waltz's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Abbott connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Waltz scrambles back to his feet. Abbott lands a head kick!

Rick Waltz has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jack Abbott is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Abbott wants to clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! Jack Abbott showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Abbott, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
