Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrei Arlovski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arlovski comes to the cage accompanied by Pitbull-dont stop the party. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Andrei Arlovski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mike Diaz! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Josh West and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz throws a leg kick and Arlovski counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Arlovski. Arlovski wants to control from the top but Diaz keeps moving. Arlovski stops Diaz from standing up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Diaz is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Arlovski dives into side control.
Arlovski staying calm. Arlovski has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Diaz!
That's one minute gone in the round. Diaz really wants to buck Arlovski off and get back to his feet. Arlovski trying to control but he's not successful this time. Arlovski looking to control and managing it successfully. Diaz really wants to buck Arlovski off and get back to his feet. Diaz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Arlovski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Arlovski tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Diaz is trying to stand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Arlovski looking to control but Diaz is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Diaz should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Arlovski stands up from mount. Strange move. Arlovski wants to clinch. Diaz looks to land a combination but Arlovski avoids it well. Diaz does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Arlovski moves in looking to clinch but Diaz pushes him off. Diaz tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Diaz throws a right and a left that both miss. Diaz stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Diaz wants it to stay on the feet. This has been an exciting period of action! Arlovski dodges the punch combination from Diaz.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Arlovski has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Diaz finds it's way round the side to connect with Arlovski's head.
It looks like Andrei Arlovski has been cut. Diaz swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Arlovski misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andrei Arlovski. That's going to take a lot out of him. Oooooh!!! Diaz has knocked Arlovski down with a huge combo! Diaz steps away and waves a wobbly Arlovski back to his feet! This one might not go much longer! Arlovski is breathing heavily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Diaz throws a nice looking combination but Arlovski bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. and Diaz counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Arlovski! He's just covering up as Diaz starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mike Diaz! Mike Diaz was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
