Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Dollar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mendaharin Tusca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mendaharin Tusca will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dollar has a takedown stuffed. Tusca scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Dollar is trying to improve his position. Dollar prevents Tusca from moving into mount. Tusca tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Dollar is looking for a sweep. Tusca working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Dollar tries to buck Tusca off but Tusca is having none of it. You can see the frustration on Dollar's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Dollar tries to bench press Tusca off him but Tusca keeps the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Tusca forces Dollar back against the cage and clinches. Tusca tightens his grip and picks Dollar up, before dumping him to the ground. Dollar manages to land in guard. Dollar could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Dollar trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Tusca avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Tusca stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dollar swivels though and keeps the full guard. Dollar working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Tusca. Tusca drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Dollar dives on top into guard. Dollar trying to control the position from guard on top but Tusca is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. That's two minutes gone in the round. Tusca wants to control from the top but Dollar keeps moving. Tusca stays in close to Dollar's body and controls the position. Tusca must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Dollar looking to hit a scissor sweep but Tusca is one step ahead there. Dollar is breathing heavily. Tusca sitting in guard here, content to control. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Tusca closes the distance and clinches. Tusca keeps control of Dollar as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Tusca lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Tusca working some strikes from top position. Tusca decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Dollar shoots and misses and Tusca counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Tusca lands a nice uppercut. Dollar is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jason Dollar. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tusca manages to break the clinch.
Dollar misses with a takedown and Tusca moves into the clinch. Dollar changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Tusca fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Dollar drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Dollar drops back, looking for a kneebar! Tusca looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Tusca looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Tusca! Dollar tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Tusca wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mendaharin Tusca dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Tusca shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Dollar's guard. Dollar is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Tusca has his hands clasped together but Dollar extends an breaks Tusca's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Dollar.
