Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Harold Price (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). King is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by 2Pac Ft.The Outlawz - Hit Em Up. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Harold Price!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Don King!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

King moves into the clinch.
King is trying to push Price away but Price has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
A frustrated look appears on King's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Price is trying to drag King to the mat but King just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

King wants to break free but Price has control.
King is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
King changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Price fights it off and pushes away nicely.
King fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Price looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Price looking to score a takedown here. King is defending well but Price drives through and ends up in King's guard.
Price cracks King with a solid left hand.

Price wants to control from the top but King keeps moving.
King is looking to stand back up but Price counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by King.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Price lands strikes from half guard.
King avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Price.

Price is looking for a kimura but King is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Price to get the leverage.
Price is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Price looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks King with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Price thows a huge punch but King dodges it nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Price is working for a submission of some sort.

King is defending against the submission attempts here by Price.

King has hold of Price's hands but Price slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Price slows the pace down in half guard.
Price throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Price not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Price seems to be looking for submissions.
King really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Price. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Price is looking for a kimura here.

Price stops King from getting back to his feet.
Price takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Price thows a huge punch but King dodges it nicely.
Price wants to pass to mount but King is defending the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Price missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Price works his foot free and advances to mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


King looks to land a combination but Price avoids it well.
Price shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. King defends it nicely.
Nice sprawl there from King as Price shoots in.

King just misses with a punch to the body.
King stuffs the takedown attempt from Price. Price gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Harold Price. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Price on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
King lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Price bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Price tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
King tries to escape but Price is in control.
Price has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
King is breathing heavily.

Price is working King over with some ground and pound from side control.

Price thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Price looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
King wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Price is looking to take a break and control but King is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
King pushes Price away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Price gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
King is working to avoid the ground and pound but Price connects with a decent elbow.
Price remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
King wants to get back to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Price is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. King is trying to escape and Price transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and King is forced to tap! Nice work there by Price! Very nice indeed!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Harold Price!
In his post fight interview, Harold Price started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
