Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Artur Py (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Nedlov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Dmitry Maklakov and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Py misses with a series of wild punches.
Py scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Nedlov blocks a head kick by Py.
Py shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Nedlov as he avoids it easily.
Py lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Nedlov at a distance.
Nedlov tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Py swivels and escapes.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Ivan Nedlov hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Nedlov has eaten all the pies!

Nedlov remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Nedlov is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Nedlov looks up at the clock and then as Py takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Nedlov smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Nedlov changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Py looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
