Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Artur Py (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Nedlov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Artur Py! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Nedlov! The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Dmitry Maklakov and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Py misses with a series of wild punches.
Py scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Nedlov blocks a head kick by Py.
Py shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Nedlov as he avoids it easily. Py lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Nedlov at a distance.
Nedlov tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Py swivels and escapes. Py scores with a jab to the jaw. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Py slaps away a takedown attempt from Nedlov, before circling back to the center of the mat. Py connects with a right hand. Nedlov shakes it off. Nedlov looks to land a combination. Py sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Artur Py has been cut. Py takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Artur Py seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Py comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Py swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Nedlov counters by moving into the clinch. Py tries to break free but Nedlov pushes him back against the cage. Py works on Nedlov's body with a couple of short punches. Nice elbow from Py. Nedlov slowing the pace effectively. Still in the clinch, Py scores with a nice short uppercut. Nedlov's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Py comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Nedlov should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Nedlov looks winded! Nedlov darts in and clinches Py up against the cage. Py can't break the clinch.
Py working hard to break the clinch. Nedlov is looking to take this one to the mat. Artur Py has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ivan Nedlov. Py tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Nedlov's elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Nedlov just misses with a elbow thrown towards Py's brow. Nedlov drops down looking for an ankle pick but Py pulls his leg out and moves away.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Nedlov wants to clinch. Py lands with a nice combination. Nedlov backs away looking to recover. Py fails to land with a series of punches.
Py tries for a takedown but Nedlov sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Nedlov fails to land the takedown. Nedlov shoots in and gets a takedown into Py's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Nedlov wants to control from the top but Py keeps moving. Py is looking for a triangle but Nedlov pushes his legs off easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Py avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Nedlov showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Nedlov's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Ivan Nedlov hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Nedlov tries to clinch up. Nedlov moves into the clinch. Py throws a head punch that misses. Nedlov is working for takedown but Py is calmly controlling the position for now. Py tries to circle away but Nedlov has him pinned against the cage. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Py makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Nedlov keeps control of Py as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Nedlov tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Py just stands there and leans against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Artur Py dominated that round. The cut man is working on Artur Py's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Nedlov shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Py as he jumps to the side. Py blocks a head kick by Nedlov.
Artur Py is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Py avoids a punch combination nicely.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Nedlov has eaten all the pies! Py stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Py wants it to stay on the feet. Nedlov wants to clinch. Py keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Artur Py has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ivan Nedlov. Nedlov misses with a takedown attempt - Py sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Py throws a right and a left that both miss. Nedlov is breathing heavily. Nedlov lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Nedlov. Py avoids a punch combination nicely.
Py throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nedlov's waist but Nedlov gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Py off to one side. Py scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Py throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Nedlov. Py keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Py shoots for a double leg takedown but Nedlov sprawls well. He's pushed Py's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nedlov looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nedlov with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Nedlov's corner is telling him to maintain position. Nedlov lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Py throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Nedlov is stalling in the full guard. Nedlov postures up and lands a big shot to Py's brow. Py keeping full guard, as Nedlov tries to pass.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nedlov stands up over Py, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Nedlov scoring with punches to the head and body. Nedlov looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Ivan Nedlov has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Nedlov darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Nedlov moves into full mount! Py won't be happy about that! Py is bucking up trying to escape but Nedlov cracks him with another couple of good strikes. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Nedlov raining down shots from the mount! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Py is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

Nedlov takes the fight into the clinch. Py is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Nedlov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nedlov moves out of range of the leg kick from Py. Nedlov looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Py is fending him off so far but Nedlov persists. Nope, Py circles away and we're back to standing. Nedlov takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Nedlov defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Py. Nedlov shoots in and bounces Py off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Nedlov landing with the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Py trying to control the position.
Nedlov scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Nedlov must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Py wants to get back to his feet but Nedlov is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Nedlov seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Nedlov postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Nedlov sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nedlov cracks Py with a solid left hand. Nedlov controls from within his opponent's guard. Nedlov postures up in Py's guard and throws a big left but Py blocks it. Nedlov advances position into side control! Nedlov remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Nedlov tries to move into full mount but can't pass Py's legs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nedlov is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Nedlov looks up at the clock and then as Py takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Nedlov smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
A lull in the action here. Py taking a bit of punishment here - Nedlov scoring with strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nedlov decides to stand back up. Nedlov steps back and let's Py get back to his feet. Nedlov shoots in for a takedown but Py shows good takedown defense. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Nedlov. Artur Py has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ivan Nedlov. Nedlov changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Py looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Check out the look on Nedlov's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

And that's the end of the fight! Ivan Nedlov comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Nedlov has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
