Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Giret Dayz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dayz pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Hontai stuffs the takedown attempt from Dayz. Dayz gets slowly back to his feet.
Dayz tries to clinch but Hontai is having none of it.
Hontai closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Hontai is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Dayz trying to control but Hontai postures up.
Hontai is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Hontai seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dayz does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Dayz might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jordan Hontai hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Hontai throws a body kick that misses.
Dayz takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Hontai tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dayz swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Hontai closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Dayz to the mat! Dayz manages to get full guard.
Dayz manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Hontai is looking to land body kicks.
Hontai clinches.
Dayz breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hontai misses with a wild body shot.
Dayz shoots for a takedown but Hontai saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Dayz stuffs the takedown.
Hontai swats away the attempt to clinch by Dayz.
Hontai shoots in looking for a takedown. Dayz tries to sprawl out of it but Hontai keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dayz manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Giret Dayz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jordan Hontai.

and Hontai counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Dayz is trying to keep Hontai in close.
Hontai with a flurry of punches that miss.
Hontai gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Hontai shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hontai showed some decent athleticism there.
Hontai is working for a submission of some sort.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hontai prevents Dayz from improving his position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hontai gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dayz shoots for a double leg takedown but Hontai sprawls well. He's pushed Dayz's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Hontai shoots in and bounces Dayz off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Hontai swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
