Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rex Stout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akira Sono (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rex Stout! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Akira Sono! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Sano and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stout misses with a lunging right hand
enabling Sono to counter with a crisp jab. Stout slaps away a takedown attempt from Sono, before circling back to the center of the mat. Stout throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sono. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sono. Stout misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Sono.
Stout misses with a shot to the body and Sono counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Stout fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sono manages to avoid it. Rex Stout seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stout throws a push kick but Sono slaps the foot to one side. Sono gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Stout counters with a left and a right that stings Sono. Rex Stout has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Akira Sono. Stout scores with a nice strike. Stout throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stout ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sono moves away. Stout's corner calls for a 1-2. Stout obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Stout slaps away a takedown attempt from Sono, before circling back to the center of the mat. A shot to the liver by Stout. Beautiful body shot. Stout misses the shot to the body. Stout tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sono was well out of range. Poor timing from Stout. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sono. No luck for Sono with that takedown attempt. Sono is trying hard to land a takedown here. Stout sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A jab from Stout misses. Sono has a takedown stuffed. Sono shoots in but no luck this time. Sono looks winded! Stout swinging wildly here.
Sono uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Stout. Stout just misses with a punch to the body.
Stout scores with a jab to the jaw. Sono tries to clinch there but Stout circles away.
Stout pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Sono dodges the punch combination from Stout.
Stout is looking to wear down Sono with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A lazy left from Stout finds it's target. Sono takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Stout misses with a jab, cross combination.
Sono tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Stout manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Stout throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Stout takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Stout throws a low kick but Sono avoids it. Stout is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sono. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sono. Sono fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Stout avoids it really well and circles away. Stout looks to throw the jab but Sono is out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sono closes the distance and clinches up with Stout, looking for a takedown. Sono pushes Stout against the cage but Stout circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Stout throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Sono takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Sono throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Rex Stout is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Stout scores with a hook. Sono fails with an attempt to clinch.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Stout moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Stout scores with a hook to the body. Sono takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Sono tries to score a power double leg takedown but Stout sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sono somewhat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rex Stout dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Stout dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Stout thows a body shot but no joy. Sono shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Stout defends it nicely. Sono closes this distance looking for a takedown but Stout circles away. Sono takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Sono shoots in for a takedown but Stout shows good takedown defense. Rex Stout has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Akira Sono. Sono misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Stout digs a good hook to Sono's body.
Sono is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stout lands with a shot to the body. Stout throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Sono tries to clinch and Stout counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Stout cracks a nice hook into Sono's ribs. Sono throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Stout was covering up waiting for the punch and Sono finishes the takedown easily into guard. Stout looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sono is one step ahead there. Sono wants to control from the top but Stout keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sono drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Sono jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Sono advances to half guard. Sono wants to take a breather but Stout is having none of it. Stout wants to improve his position but Sono is controlling well.
Sono is keen to just control but Stout is a slippery customer. Stout is looking for a sweep. Sono is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Stout is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Sono jumps into side control!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stout is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Sono is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Stout really wants to buck Sono off and get back to his feet. Sono looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Stout working to try and regain half guard.
Stout knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sono on the ground. Sono is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Stout can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stout is trying to escape the mount.
Stout on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Stout tries to get out of the position. Stout tries to hold on but Sono postures up. Sono trying to control but he's not successful this time. Stout wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sono has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Stout is in real trouble here. Sono gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Stout is tapping out! Sono wins by rear naked choke!
