Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hussak Claw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacob Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hussak Claw!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jacob Smith!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Winston Howard and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Claw sprawls well initially but Smith persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Smith is looking for a kimura here.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Claw manages to get to full guard.
Smith is fighting to break Claw's control of his arms but Claw is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
We're going to have a standup here because Hussak Claw wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Smith rushes Claw and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Smith escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Claw gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Claw drops back, looking for a kneebar! Smith looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Smith looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Smith!

Claw makes his way to full guard, as Smith worked for a kimura.

Smith must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Claw's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close round but I would say that Hussak Claw will probably get the nod.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Claw is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Smith is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Claw in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Smith looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Claw turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!

After winning the bout, Hussak Claw thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
