The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Draconion with a lazy takedown attempt
and Punk counters with a nice double leg into guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Punk trying to control the position from guard on top but Draconion is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Draconion is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Punk dives into side control.
Draconion is trying to escape the position but Punk is controlling the position.
Draconion is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Draconion really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Punk. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Punk is putting a hurting on Draconion here, landing some big shots from side control.
Draconion is looking to get back to his feet here but Punk is keeping cool and he's managed to take Draconion's back.

Draconion covers up after that shot from Punk.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Punk working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Draconion is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Punk has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Draconion taps out!
