Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Asbolus Pholus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Talles Vrade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pholus keeps the fight on the outside.
Pholus swats away the attempt to clinch by Vrade .

Pholus drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Pholus working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Vrade 's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vrade keeping moving, preventing Pholus from controlling successfully.
Vrade working a defensive guard here.
Pholus working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Pholus trying to control the position from guard on top but Vrade is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Pholus throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Pholus pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Vrade is keeping the position for now.

Vrade has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Pholus is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Vrade .
Vrade wants to control but Pholus postures up.

Pholus in side control lands a decent elbow.
Pholus tries to advance to mount but can't.

Pholus looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Pholus scores with a couple of short elbows.

Pholus tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Pholus has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Vrade is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Vrade tries to improve position but can't.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Pholus in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
A big shot lands for Pholus! That's hurt Vrade ! Will he recover? Pholus fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
