Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Edward Campbell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ku Pol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pol is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by lost in the echo. Edward Campbell could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ku Pol's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Edward Campbell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ku Pol! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A looping hook to the body misses from Pol. Campbell does a little dance to reset his feet. Campbell rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pol moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Campbell smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Campbell keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Pol. Pol drops his hands momentarily and Campbell takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Pol misses with a combination
and Campbell counters with a nice uppercut. Pol stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Pol wants it to stay on the feet. Pol looks to land a combination but Campbell avoids it well. Campbell lands the left hand. Danga de danga de dang - Campbell scores with a four punch combination! Campbell lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Campbell stuns Pol with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Campbell will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Pol tries to clinch up but Campbell circles away and keeps his distance. Campbell moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Pol tries to clinch but Campbell moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Campbell throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Pol slips a jab and a cross from Campbell.
Campbell looks to land a combination. Pol sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Ku Pol is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Campbell throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Campbell cracks Pol with an open hand slap. Edward Campbell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Campbell throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Pol counters with a series of strikes. Campbell will be more careful next time no doubt. Pol tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Campbell counters with a nice body shot. Campbell circles away from the clinch attempt.
Campbell tries to bum rush Pol with a series of wild strikes but Pol uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Pol is looking to take this fight into the clinch. The fight stays on the outside here - Pol looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pol throws a right and a left that both miss. Campbell throws a series of punches but Pol moves out of range. Pol stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. This has been an exciting period of action! Campbell decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Pol preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Pol is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Campbell jumps into side control! Campbell trying to control the position but Pol is working away. Campbell tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Campbell has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Campbell trying to control the action but Pol is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pol is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Campbell tries for a kimura but Pol is defending well. Pol parries the strikes from Campbell easily there. Campbell is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Pol to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Campbell working away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pol trying to remain calm as Campbell controls from the top position. Pol really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Campbell. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Campbell is working to tighten is grip on Pol's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Pol has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Campbell is really squeezing tight and eventually Pol passes out! Campbell breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
