Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Woolfolk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Fitch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fitch has chosen HEALTH - TEARS as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Adam Fitch! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fitch closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Woolfolk controlling the position well. Woolfolk is refusing to be controlled, as Fitch sits in half guard. Woolfolk regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Fitch. Woolfolk looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Fitch wanted to stand there but Woolfolk had control of the position. Woolfolk has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Fitch keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Woolfolk feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fitch not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Adam Fitch. Fitch keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Joe Woolfolk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Woolfolk tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fitch swats him away and circles back towards the center. Nice jab there from Fitch. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sloppy strikes from Fitch. Those never looked like landing. Woolfolk looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Fitch is trying to stand up here but Woolfolk is controlling him well. Woolfolk seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Fitch does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Woolfolk seems to be working for a kimura but Fitch defends the submission attempt. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. That's four minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Woolfolk slips a nice elbow through Fitch's hands, connecting with Fitch's forehead. Woolfolk seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Woolfolk scoring with strikes to the body and head. Fitch tries to kick Woolfolk off but Woolfolk keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Woolfolk has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Woolfolk fails with the takedown. Fitch throws a head kick that misses. Fitch ducks straight into an uppercut from Woolfolk and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Fitch manages to regain guard straight away.

It looks like Adam Fitch has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Fitch preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Fitch is still in real trouble! Can Woolfolk finish him? Woolfolk trying to control the position from guard on top but Fitch is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Fitch seems to have recovered his senses. Fitch looking for a sweep. Not yet Fitch, not yet. Woolfolk working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Fitch's head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fitch wants to stand and escape but Woolfolk is having none of it. Woolfolk wants to control from the top but Fitch keeps moving. Fitch looking for a sweep. Not yet Fitch, not yet. Fitch has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Woolfolk is working away from the top position though. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Woolfolk lands a nice short elbow. Well, if Woolfolk is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Fitch is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Woolfolk's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Woolfolk's back! Woolfolk breaks Fitch's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

It's a sloppy attempt though and Woolfolk jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Woolfolk connects with a couple of short punches. Woolfolk gets to his feet and stands over Fitch, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Fitch felt that one! Woolfolk unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Fitch from any more punishment!
