Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Lunchmeat Sandwich!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Jeff Smith and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jom throws a low kick but Sandwich moves out of range easily.
No luck for Sandwich with that takedown attempt.
Sandwich shoots in and drives through. Jom sprawls well.
Sandwich has a takedown stuffed.
Jim Jom has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lunchmeat Sandwich.
Jom moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Lunchmeat Sandwich seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jom throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sandwich.
Sandwich tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Jom manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
The crowd cheers as Jom lands an impressive looking overhand right. Sandwich doesn't seem phased though.

Jom keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Jom scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Jom really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Sandwich throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jom.
Sandwich has his takedown stuffed
and Jom counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Sandwich thinking.
Sandwich shoots in looking for a takedown. Jom tries to sprawl out of it but Sandwich keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Jom manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Sandwich shoots for a double leg takedown but Jom sprawls well. He's pushed Sandwich's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Jom avoids a punch combination nicely.
Sandwich walks into a straight right hand from Jom.
Jom keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Sandwich shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jom defends it nicely.

Sandwich looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jom is fending him off so far but Sandwich persists. Nope, Jom circles away and we're back to standing.

Jom stuffs the takedown attempt from Sandwich. Sandwich gets slowly back to his feet.
Sandwich shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jom sprawls well. Jom wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sandwich gets slowly back to his feet.
Jom cracks Sandwich with an open hand slap.
A nice combination there by Jom.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sandwich rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jom moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jom leaves Sandwich with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Sandwich is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jom sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Jom connects with a crisp jab.
Jom tests Sandwich's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Jom throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Sandwich has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Jom finds it's way round the side to connect with Sandwich's head.

Jom lunges at Sandwich with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Sandwich's hand.
Jom scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Jom stalks Sandwich and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Sandwich's face. Sandwich staggers backwards, shaken.
Sandwich is rocked!

Sandwich doesn't succeed with the takedown
enabling Jom to counter with a crisp jab.

Jom swings away with a leg kick that misses.

Sandwich gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Jom gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
