The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alexio sizes up Le Bleu with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Alexio bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

It looks like James Le Bleu has been cut.
Le Bleu tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Le Bleu misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Le Bleu gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Alexio.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Le Bleu takes one to the chin there.
Alexio works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Alexio connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Alexio clinches up against the cage.
Knees in the clinch landing for Alexio.
Le Bleu looks winded!
Alexio will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Le Bleu up against the cage.
Alexio lands an elbow just above Le Bleu 's eye.

That has opened up James Le Bleu's cut even more.
Alexio with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Le Bleu fails to pull the fight into his guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Le Bleu takes a knee right on the jaw!
A nice left hand lands by Alexio.
A short right from Alexio on the inside.

The cut above James Le Bleu's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Alexio lands a shoulder strike.
The referee is keeping an eye on Alexio - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Alexio lands an elbow inside that Le Bleu shrugs off.
Alexio has Le Bleu pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Le Bleu is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Alexio - that's hurt Le Bleu badly! Oh, another knee lands and Le Bleu is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Le Bleu doesn't seem to be complaining.
