Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Klice Moroon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brad Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes into a darkened arena with his song building. If You Smelllllll kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Klice Moroon has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Klice Moroon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brad Jones! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Winston Howard and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moroon looks to land a combination but Jones avoids it well. Jones fails with a takedown attempt. Moroon checks the leg kick nicely there.
Moroon fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Jones moves into the clinch. Moroon tries to break the clinch but Jones is controlling the position. Jones keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Moroon's efforts to push away. Jones drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Jones wants the takedown. Moroon is fighting it off but Jones persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Moroon's guard against the cage. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Jones with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Moroon working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Jones.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Moroon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Brad Jones. Moroon looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Jones slips a jab and a cross from Moroon.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones fails with a takedown attempt. Klice Moroon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brad Jones. Moroon jabs Jones to the body, keeping him at a distance. Jones moves into the clinch successfully.
Jones is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Moroon can't fight it off and eventually Jones manages to take the fight to the floor. Moroon looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Jones landing with the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones is pushing down on Moroon's leg trying to pass to half guard. Moroon is fighting to maintain full guard but Jones has managed to sneak the leg through.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones seems to be working for a kimura but Moroon defends the submission attempt. Jones thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Moroon has hold of Jones's hands but Jones slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Jones is trying to control. Moroon wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Jones wants to control but Moroon is keeping him busy. Jones controlling the action here. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Jones drops an elbow to the side of Moroon's head. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jones drops an elbow to the side of Moroon's head. Jones wants to lay and pray for a moment but Moroon keeps working. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brad Jones dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Moroon throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jones stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Jones shoots for a double leg takedown but Moroon sprawls well. He's pushed Jones's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Jones has a takedown stuffed. A jab from Jones misses. Jones throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Moroon tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Jones is in Moroon's guard. Jones is pushing down on Moroon's leg trying to pass to half guard. Moroon is fighting to maintain full guard but Jones has managed to sneak the leg through. Jones missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Moroon looks like he's trying to stand up.
Moroon tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Jones manages to move to mount!
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones tries to control but Moroon wriggling away. Jones raining down shots from the mount! Jones looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Moroon turns into him and now he's in Jones's guard.
Moroon would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jones can do anything to dispel that myth. Jones bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Moroon's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Moroon utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Moroon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jones on the ground. Jones slips nicely into half guard. Jones has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Jones throwing shots but Moroon is blocking nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones wants to control but Moroon is keeping him busy. Jones is looking for a kimura here.
Jones is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jones fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brad Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Jones moves into the clinch. Moroon wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Moroon is looking to break free of the clinch but Jones has double underhooks. Moroon has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Jones turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Jones working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Jones working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Jones misses with the ground and pound. Moroon takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jones misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones working the ground and pound but Moroon is defending the strikes. Jones has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Jones wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Moroon, who protects the arm well. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Jones working the body and head with strikes. Jones tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Jones has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Klice Moroon has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones landing strikes. Jones is chipping away with strikes.
Moroon is being controlled here. An elbow from Jones crashes against the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones lands some shots froms side control. Jones lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Brad Jones has got the better of the ground game so far. Jones advances nicely into full mount. A nice elbow there by Jones. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jones with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

And that's the end of the fight! Brad Jones comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Jones winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
