Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charles Gunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Renzo Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Gunn might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Audioslave - Exploder. The crowd seem to be enjoying Machida's choice of entrance music: No more Shadows for the Past- NARNIA. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

21 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Renzo Machida!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunn misses with an uppercut.
Gunn throws a front kick aimed at Machida's knee but Machida avoids it well.
Machida moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Gunn slips under a jab from Machida.
Gunn throws a lazy right hand but Machida sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Gunn throws a leg kick that is checked
and Machida counters with a nice body kick.
Charles Gunn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gunn throws a wild body kick that Machida sees coming a mile off.
Gunn walks forward, straight into a front kick from Machida.
Gunn is breathing heavily.
The fighters circle momentarily. Machida darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Gunn looks to score with a jab to the body but Machida is just out of range.
Machida tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Gunn has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Machida.
Machida lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Machida.

and Machida counters with a nice body kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Machida connects with an inside leg kick.
Machida connects with a nice cross there... Gunn is looking wobbly and Machida recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Gunn to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Machida jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
