Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raymond Carson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Silva Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Wrestler. Silva Silva will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Silva Silva! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Anthony Taglia and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carson has closed the distance and engaged Silva in a clinch.
Carson connects with a nasty looking knee right to Silva's face.

Silva on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Silva is pressed up against the cage. Carson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Silva down to the mat. Silva avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Carson wants to clinch. Carson moves into range and clinches up with Silva. Carson landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Silva wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Carson goes for a takedown attempt but Silva pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Carson tries to clinch up but Silva circles away and keeps his distance. Silva clobbers Carson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Silva scores with a jab. Carson acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Carson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Silva looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Silva is letting Carson control him for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carson decides to take the fight back to the feet. A head kick misses from Silva. Silva misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Silva wants to break free but Carson has control.
Silva has had enough of the clinch but Carson keeps him there for the moment. A left hand lands to the body for Carson.

Carson drops down looking for an ankle pick but Silva pulls his leg out and moves away.

Silva looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Carson is breathing heavily. Silva wants to get back to his feet but Carson is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carson decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Carson drives through and clinches with Silva against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Carson misses with a hook to the ribs.

Carson prevents Silva from breaking the clinch. Silva is trying to break free. Carson tries to land knees in the clinch but Silva avoids the damage to the body. Silva wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Carson has him pressed against the cage. Carson tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Raymond Carson dominated that round. The cut man is working on Raymond Carson's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Carson looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Silva connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Silva lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. A combination from Carson does no damage. Raymond Carson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Carson drives through and clinches with Silva against the cage.

Carson stalls. Carson pushes off an throws an elbow but Silva leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Carson scores with a knee to the head.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Carson breaks from the clinch.
Silva slow jab from Carson misses its intended target. Carson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Silva manages to avoid it.

Silva should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Carson takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Silva takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Carson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Silva is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Silva is being controlled here. Carson decides to stand back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Silva crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Carson - the referee stops the clock and Silva gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Carson. Silva manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Carson gets in close and instigates a clinch. Silva on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Carson is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Silva wants to break the clinch but can't.
Carson unloads a knee to the mid-section. Silva lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Carson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Silva smiles and moves away.

Carson has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Silva regains guard immediately. Carson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Raymond Carson dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Raymond Carson's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Silva scores with a jab. Carson tries to clinch up. Silva Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Carson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Silva. Silva uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Silva throws a hook but Carson blocks it. Carson gets a takedown into half guard. Carson controlling the action here. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Carson throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva is looking to escape. Well, if Carson is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Carson takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Raymond Carson. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Carson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
