Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tron Grillzz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Myers Hockles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grillzz has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Anthony Taglia and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grillzz fails with a takedown attempt.
Grillzz is breathing heavily.
Hockles closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Hockles scores with a couple of short elbows.
Hockles controlling the position from side mount.
Grillzz prevents Hockles from moving into mount.
Hockles just content to control the position.
Myers Hockles has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Hockles connects with a solid leg kick.

Grillzz sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Hockles lands a big head kick that sends Grillzz tumbling to the mat! Hockles takes a step backwards and waves Grillzz back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Tron Grillzz has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Both fighters circling a little - Hockles finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Oh Grillzz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hockles gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Hockles throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Still in half guard, Hockles seems content to control.

Hockles perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Hockles really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Grillzz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Myers Hockles hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Hockles looks to land a combination but Grillzz avoids it well.
Hockles throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Hockles closes the distance and clinches.
Hockles lands an elbow just above Grillzz 's eye.
Hockles escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hockles displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Grillzz.
Hockles lands a brutal head kick. Grillzz looks out on his feet and Hockles throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
