Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duo dives in and grabs Perez's left leg, looking for a takedown. Perez pushes down on Duo's head and hops out.
Duo with a poor takedown
and Perez counters with a thumping low kick.
Duo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Perez but Perez pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Juan Perez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mubaracus Duo.
Duo closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Perez did well to prevent Duo getting side control.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Perez wants to get back to his feet.
Perez has his hands clasped together around Duo's back. He's all about the action.
Perez is trying to maintain the position but Duo is very close to passing his half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Juan Perez.
Perez closes the distance and clinches.
Duo can't get the takedown.
Perez is looking to break free of the clinch but Duo has double underhooks.
Duo keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Perez's efforts to push away.
Perez pulls Duo into guard.
Duo controlling from the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Perez working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Duo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Perez is tightening it up a little... Duo has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Duo reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Duo taps out! Nice BJJ there by Perez!
