The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anisimov moves into the clinch successfully.
Bader keeps control of Anisimov as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Bader is looking for a takedown. Bader is looking to take this one to the mat. Bader has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Anisimov clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Bader is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Anisimov with him. Anisimov is trying to defend but Bader has an arm under the chin now! Anisimov grimaces and is forced to tap out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). John Bader!
