Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Martin Morales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doug Conger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morales comes to the cage accompanied by ice ice baby. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Martin Morales! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Doug Conger! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A punch combination from Conger misses. Morales closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Conger prevents Morales from breaking the clinch. Conger drags the fight down to the ground.
Morales wants to control from the top but Conger keeps moving. Conger manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Morales manages to get himself to full guard.
Morales is looking to stand up but Conger isn't so interested in that idea. Conger content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Morales can't keep his opponent in guard - Conger advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Conger keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Morales wants to control but Conger is keeping busy and won't allow it. Conger tries to pass to full mount but Morales defends it. Morales is looking to control Conger's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Morales avoid being mounted? Conger should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
That's one minute gone in the round. Conger passes to side control. You can see the frustration on Morales's face as Conger controls the position. Morales is trying to buck Conger off. Morales manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Morales controlling the pace. Conger manages to escape and get back to his feet! Morales is breathing heavily. Morales on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Morales tries to clinch there but Conger circles away.

and Conger decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Morales's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Morales looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Conger drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Conger jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Conger stands up from guard. Let's bang! Morales tries to clinch but fails miserably and Conger counters by clinching up. Conger breaks the clinch.
Morales dodges the punch combination from Conger.
Conger lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Morales backs up against the cage.
Conger gets a takedown into half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Morales trying to control from the bottom.
Morales looks like he's trying to stand up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Morales won't allow Conger to pass to mount. Morales is trying to stand.

Conger stops Morales from getting back to his feet.
Morales gets full guard. Morales trying to keep a closed guard but Conger is proving a slippery customer.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Morales wants to clinch and Conger holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Morales has hold of one of Conger's legs. Conger is fighting the takedown attempt but Morales gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Conger scrambles and gets back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Conger bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Conger passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Morales! Conger takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Morales is trying to escape the mount.
Conger is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Morales is surviving well by controlling Conger's body position as best he can. Conger sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Morales is in all sorts of trouble here.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Conger putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Doug Conger dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Conger drives through and clinches with Morales against the cage.
Morales is trying to break free. Conger keeps control of Morales as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Morales wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Morales is trying to break free. Conger tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Morales smiles and moves away.
Conger drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Morales is looking for a sweep. Conger taking a breather here. Conger is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Morales knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Morales knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Conger on the ground. Morales explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
That's one minute gone in the round. Conger throws a head kick that misses. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Conger darts in and clinches Morales up against the cage. Conger has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Morales avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Morales looking for a takedown. Conger pulls guard effortlessly. Morales will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Morales postures up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Morales is really struggling to control Conger but he's trying to hold on to the position. Conger avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Morales wants to get up but he can't break Conger's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Morales pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Conger is keeping the position for now. Morales has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Morales decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Conger, up you get!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Morales gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Conger counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Morales's guard now. Conger prevents Morales from getting back to his feet. Morales uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Morales tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Conger holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Conger prevents Morales from breaking the clinch. Morales is trying to break free. Conger goes for a takedown attempt but Morales pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Martin Morales has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Doug Conger. Morales fails in his attempt to clinch. Conger misses with a jab, cross combination.
Conger rushes Morales and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Conger manages to pull guard.
Conger seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

He pushes Morales off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Conger gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Conger breaks the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Conger lands a nice short elbow. Conger slows the pace down in half guard. Morales trying to control but Conger postures up.
Conger content to control rather than advance. Conger is thwarting Morales's attempts to control the position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Conger trying to control the pace. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Doug Conger showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Morales breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Conger throws a series of punches but Morales moves out of range. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Morales tries to keep at a distance but Conger has taken the fight into the clinch. Conger tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Morales just stands there and leans against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morales is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Conger scores with an uppercut up the middle. Conger drags the fight down to the ground.
Doug Conger has got the better of the ground game so far. Conger manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Conger controlling the position easily from mount. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Conger cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Morales is desperately trying to improve his position but Conger has a good base and remains in mount. Morales is working hard here to advance position. Morales bucks Conger off and manages to get back to his feet! Morales wants to clinch and Conger counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Morales wants to clinch. Morales darts in trying to clinch and Conger counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Morales's guard now. Morales is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Morales manages to break the clinch.
Morales will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Martin Morales seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Conger throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Morales takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Conger looks to land a combination but Morales avoids it well. Conger shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Conger showed some decent athleticism there. Conger works his way into full mount! Conger controlling the pace for now. Conger stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Conger dodges the punch combination from Morales.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Morales clinches but Conger breaks the clinch and Conger counters with a takedown into side control. Morales is looking to reverse the position. Conger scores with a couple of short elbows. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Conger is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Morales will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Conger is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Morales tries to clinch but fails miserably and Conger counters with a nice body kick.
And that's the end of the fight! Doug Conger comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Conger has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
