Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Rickarderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teppo Kompau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kompau has chosen Robbie Williams - Me And My Monkey as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The judges for this bout are Josh West, Jeff Smith and Colin Fray.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Kompau, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kompau scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Kompau tries a head kick but it misses.
Kompau tries to move into range but Rickarderson moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Kompau avoids the body shot from Rickarderson.
Rickarderson misses with a takedown attempt - Kompau sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Kompau tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rickarderson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
The crowd cheers as Kompau lands an impressive looking overhand right. Rickarderson doesn't seem phased though.
Kompau tries to clinch up but Rickarderson circles away and keeps his distance.

Rickarderson gets tackled into the cage by Kompau. Kompau maintains the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rickarderson can't get the takedown.
Rickarderson takes a shot to the head.
Rickarderson is trying to break free.
Kompau tries to break the clinch but Rickarderson is controlling the position.

Rickarderson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Kompau darts in and clinches Rickarderson up against the cage.

Kompau has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Rickarderson regains guard immediately.
Kompau must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Rickarderson is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Kompau has his hands clasped together but Rickarderson extends an breaks Kompau's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Rickarderson.
