Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tweedle Dee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcos Duarte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dee comes into the arena with Chumbawamba - Tubthumping blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Tweedle Dee! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 5 - 1, fighting out of New York, Marcos Duarte! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Donatello Bradman and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dee misses with a wild body shot. Dee is looking to slow Duarte down with leg kicks. Dee jabs Duarte right on the nose. Duarte blinks but takes it well. Dee scores with a sloppy right hand. Duarte should have avoided that one. Nice takedown defense from Dee. No joy for Duarte on that attempt. Dee tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Duarte was well out of range. Poor timing from Dee. Dee misses with a low kick.
Duarte takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Dee scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Duarte scores with a nice head shot. Duarte on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Dee. Dee obviously looking to wear him down.
Tweedle Dee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Duarte takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Duarte thows a body shot but no joy. Dee lands a jab. Dee misses with a low kick as Duarte jumps back. Duarte takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dee tries a low kick but Duarte avoids it. Duarte takes a jab right on the kisser.
Dee throws a leg kick and Duarte counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Dee getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Duarte scores with a shot to the body.
Dee avoids the body shot from Duarte.
Duarte missing with a left hand there. Dee was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Duarte misses with a hook to the body
and Dee counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Dee misses with a hook. Duarte's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Dee connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Duarte scrambles back to his feet. Duarte dives in and grabs Dee's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dee pushes down on Duarte's head and hops out. Duarte tries to move into range but Dee moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Duarte pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Duarte thows a left - swing and a miss! Dee takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dee takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Dee feints and then cracks Duarte's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Duarte down. Dee stuns Duarte with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. A punch combination from Dee misses. Dee fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Dee lands a nice hook to Duarte's body. Duarte takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Dee lands a nice shot to the body.
Tweedle Dee is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Dee lands a nice shot to the body.
Dee buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Dee loads up on a big right hand but Duarte slips the punch. Dee just misses with a punch to the body.
A shot to the body from Dee misses and Duarte connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Duarte takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Dee works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dee paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Duarte avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Duarte tries to clinch but Dee moves out of range. Dee uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Duarte.
Dee throws a body punch but Duarte moves out of range. Dee connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Duarte tries for a takedown but Dee sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Tweedle Dee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcos Duarte. Duarte keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Dee lands a nice shot that snaps Duarte's head back.
Duarte is rocked! BOOM! Dee lands a beautiful left hook that drops Duarte. Duarte tries to recover but Dee is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Duarte lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
