Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrey Voronkoff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bam Dunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Voronkoff might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to System of a Down-Aerials. Bam Dunn will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Andrey Voronkoff! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Bam Dunn! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Voronkoff closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Dunn is looking for a sweep. Voronkoff working the ground and pound from side control. Voronkoff is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Dunn has escaped the position, nice work there. Dunn tries to get back to half guard but can't. Voronkoff is chipping away with strikes.
Dunn wants to control but Voronkoff postures up. Voronkoff trying to control the position but Dunn is working away. You can see the frustration on Dunn's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dunn is not content to let Voronkoff control the position. Voronkoff scoring with punches from side control. Voronkoff working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

That's one minute gone in the round. Dunn gets tackled into the cage by Voronkoff. Voronkoff maintains the clinch. Dunn with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Voronkoff gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Dunn regains guard.
Voronkoff is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Voronkoff stopping the sweep attempt from Dunn. Voronkoff trying to control but Dunn is working from the bottom. Voronkoff trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Voronkoff is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. The ref stands the fighters back up because Andrey Voronkoff just wasn't active enough. Dunn tries to clinch but Voronkoff moves out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Voronkoff fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Dunn to the ground. Voronkoff is now in Dunn's guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Voronkoff works a leg free and moves into half guard. Dunn is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Voronkoff's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Voronkoff's back! Dunn looking to break Voronkoff's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Voronkoff remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Dunn will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Voronkoff tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Voronkoff is squirming around, avoiding Dunn's attempts to control the action. Voronkoff tries to lock up and control but Dunn gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Dunn thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Voronkoff is desperately trying to improve his position but Dunn has a good base and remains in mount. Dunn is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Voronkoff to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Voronkoff shrugs it off. Dunn throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Voronkoff sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Dunn is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Voronkoff is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Voronkoff is defending against the submission attempts here by Dunn.
Voronkoff knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dunn on the ground. Voronkoff is holding on to half guard well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dunn is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Dunn wants to work for an arm triangle but Voronkoff is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Voronkoff is not content to let Dunn control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Voronkoff is controlling Dunn's position as best he can from this difficult position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Voronkoff rushes Dunn and presses him up against the cage. Voronkoff is trying to trip Dunn. He has hold of a leg but Dunn is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Voronkoff persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Voronkoff is stalling in the full guard. Voronkoff trying to control the position from guard on top but Dunn is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Voronkoff is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. That's one minute gone in the round. Voronkoff lands with a punch from half guard. Voronkoff trying to control the action but Dunn is working from the bottom. Dunn is pressing down on Voronkoff's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Dunn escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Voronkoff gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Voronkoff scoring with punches to the head and body. Voronkoff is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Voronkoff postures up in Dunn's guard and throws a big left but Dunn blocks it. Voronkoff forces his way into half guard. Voronkoff looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dunn with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! This has been an exciting period of action! Dunn is looking to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Voronkoff winds up and cracks Dunn with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Dunn is trying to stand back up but Voronkoff is controlling him

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dunn has his foot on Voronkoff's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Voronkoff works his way back into a safe position though. Dunn is breathing heavily. Voronkoff looking to pass the guard. Voronkoff not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Dunn is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Voronkoff working some strikes from top position. Voronkoff wants to control from the top but Dunn keeps moving. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Voronkoff landing with the ground and pound. Dunn working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Voronkoff doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Voronkoff manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Voronkoff landing a few strikes. Voronkoff thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Voronkoff controls the position. Voronkoff cracks Dunn with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Voronkoff slips a nice elbow through Dunn's hands, connecting with Dunn's forehead. Voronkoff scoring with strikes to the body and head. Dunn takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Dunn moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Voronkoff looking to pass the guard. Voronkoff wants to control from the top but Dunn keeps moving. Dunn can't keep his opponent in guard - Voronkoff advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. That's four minutes gone in the round. Voronkoff tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Voronkoff cracks Dunn with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Voronkoff takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Voronkoff is working for a guillotine from mount but Dunn frees his head quite easily.

And that's the end of the fight! Andrey Voronkoff showed his dominance in that final round. Well Voronkoff has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
