The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fox throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Sam Fox seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fox tries a low kick but Fender avoids it.
Fender dips to his left and cracks Fox with an uppercut!
A jab from Fender misses.
Fox lands a high kick!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Fender on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Fender tests Fox's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Fox jabs at Fender's body.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Fox.
A slapping leg kick lands for Fox.
Fender attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Fox tries to score with a low kick but Fender moves his leg out of the way.
Fox misses with a two punch combination.
Fender connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Fox ducks under a wild hook from Fender.

Fox misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Fox looks to land a left hand but Fender moved out of range nicely.
That kick from Fender tenderised Fox's leg. Fox is trying to keep his angry face on.
Fox throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Fender counters with a body kick.
Fender missing with a left hand there. Fox was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Fender scores with the left hand. Fox knows he should have avoided that one.
Fender connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Fender ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Fox takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Fox misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Fox escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Fender makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Fender cracks Fox with an open hand slap.

Fender shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fox sprawls well. Fox wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fender gets slowly back to his feet.
Fox attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
A slow jab from Fender misses its intended target.
Fender feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Fox's calf.
Fender tries a low kick but Fox avoids it.
Fox looks to land a combination but Fender avoids it well.
Fender stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Fox.
Fender is looking to slow Fox down with leg kicks.
Fender slips under a jab.
Fox cracks Fender with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
A low kick from Fox is predictable there
and Fender counters with a solid body kick.

Fender lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Fender instigates a clinch.
Fox throws a head punch that misses.
Fox breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Fender's corner calls for a 1-2. Fender obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Fox misses with a right hand
enabling Fender to counter with a crisp jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fender throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Fox looks winded!
Fox on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Fox throws the left hand but Fender avoids the punch easily.
Jab, jab by Fender - just one landing.
Fox is rocked!
Fox looks up at the clock. Bad move! Fender lands a right hand from hell, dropping Fox. Fender pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
