Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Michael Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sick Puppy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hall comes to the cage accompanied by Serial Killa. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Michael Hall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sick Puppy! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Chris Saunders and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Puppy misses with an uppercut. Hall saw that one coming. Puppy cracks a nice hook into Hall's ribs. Hall takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Hall has closed the distance and engaged Puppy in a clinch.
Puppy wants to take the fight to the mat but Hall manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Puppy has hold of one of Hall's legs. Hall is fighting the takedown attempt but Puppy gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Puppy prevents Hall from getting back to his feet. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hall looking for a sweep. Not yet Hall, not yet. Puppy cracks Hall with a solid left hand. Hall knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Puppy on the ground. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Puppy accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Hall working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Puppy. Puppy has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Puppy throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Puppy works a leg free and moves into half guard. Hall is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Puppy wants to pass the guard but Hall is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Puppy trying to control the action but Hall is working from the bottom. Puppy thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hall's head. Puppy thows a huge punch but Hall dodges it nicely.
Hall is in trouble now - Puppy has advanced to mount! Hall holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Puppy tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Puppy cracks Hall with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Puppy fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
BOOM! Puppy connects with a massive shot to the dome!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Puppy working the ground and pound effectively.
Puppy is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Hall can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Puppy unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Hall wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Puppy celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
