Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pj Veenstra!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Aafke Stam and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Fermazi - that will leave a mark!
Veenstra throws a jab but it's blocked by Fermazi.
Veenstra takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Fermazi lands a high kick!
Veenstra shoots in looking for a takedown but Fermazi manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Veenstra's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
A jab from Fermazi does it's job there.
Fermazi avoids the body shot from Veenstra.
Fermazi takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fermazi moves out of range of the leg kick from Veenstra.
Fermazi lands a nice leg kick that just misses Veenstra's sensitive parts.
Veenstra misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Veenstra throws a nice outside leg kick.
Fermazi pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Fermazi lands a big head kick that sends Veenstra tumbling to the mat! Fermazi takes a step backwards and waves Veenstra back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Veenstra is rocked!
Veenstra ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fermazi moves away.
Veenstra is still on wobbly legs! Can Fermazi finish him?
That's one minute gone in the round.
Veenstra misses with a hook. Fermazi ducked under it nicely.
Veenstra throws a push kick but Fermazi slaps the foot to one side.
Veenstra fails to land the takedown.
Veenstra seems to have recovered his senses.
Vladameir Fermazi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pj Veenstra.
Fermazi connects with a high kick.
Fermazi leaves Veenstra with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Veenstra rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Fermazi counters with a crisp right that sends Veenstra to the canvas! Fermazi follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vladameir Fermazi!

After winning the bout, Vladameir Fermazi thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
