Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tshering Wangchuck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lewis Ridgeon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wangchuck comes to the cage accompanied by Rapa - Rang Sem Kar Ga Mikar. Ridgeon is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Skulls. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tshering Wangchuck! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Lewis Ridgeon! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wangchuck tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ridgeon swats him away and circles back towards the center. Wangchuck wants to clinch up but Ridgeon keeps it at a distance. Wangchuck bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Wangchuck tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Wangchuck tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Ridgeon counters with a nice double leg into guard. Ridgeon pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Wangchuck is keeping the position for now. Ridgeon throws an elbow that misses. Wangchuck uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Ridgeon's guard. Nice move by Wangchuck! Wangchuck has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Wangchuck tries to stand but Ridgeon is controlling from the bottom. Ridgeon looking for a sweep. Not yet Ridgeon, not yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wangchuck trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Wangchuck trying to stand up but can't free himself from Ridgeon's guard. Wangchuck loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Ridgeon is trying to control the position but Wangchuck postures up. Wangchuck has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Ridgeon is proving hard to escape from. Ridgeon trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Ridgeon has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Wangchuck trying to stand up but can't free himself from Ridgeon's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Ridgeon holds on and takes a little breather.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Wangchuck wants to clinch. A telegraphed right hand from Ridgeon misses the target. Wangchuck closes the distance but Ridgeon moves to the side and Ridgeon counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Wangchuck! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Wangchuck is looking to regain half guard here but Ridgeon keeps moving and retains side control. Ridgeon throws an elbow but Wangchuck slips to the side and avoids it well. Wangchuck tries to bench press Ridgeon off him but Ridgeon keeps the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ridgeon in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Ridgeon scoring with punches from side control. Ridgeon tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Ridgeon tries to score with some ground and pound. Wangchuck controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Wangchuck is trying to get back to his feet. Ridgeon is chipping away with strikes.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ridgeon working the head with strikes. Ridgeon tries for a kimura but Wangchuck is defending well. Ridgeon is looking to take a break and control but Wangchuck is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wangchuck is trying to get back to half guard. Ridgeon working the ground and pound. Ridgeon landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Ridgeon in side control, throwing shots but Wangchuck defends. Wangchuck tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ridgeon wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Ridgeon scores with punches from side control. Wangchuck holds on to Ridgeon's head and controls the position momentarily. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Ridgeon cracks Wangchuck with a big right hand but Wangchuck just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lewis Ridgeon dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Wangchuck wants to clinch. Ridgeon on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Wangchuck wants to clinch but Ridgeon slips to the side and Ridgeon counters with a nice double leg into side control. Wangchuck won't be happy with that. Ridgeon lands a nice forearm strike. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Wangchuck taking a bit of punishment here - Ridgeon scoring with strikes. Ridgeon lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Wangchuck down.

That's one minute gone in the round. Ridgeon creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Wangchuck sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Ridgeon working the ground and pound. The ground and pound from Ridgeon seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Wangchuck takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Wangchuck is rocked! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ridgeon lands a huge shot from side control! Wangchuck is out cold! This one is all over!
