The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Josh West and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jonson thows a left - swing and a miss!
Sullivan throws an overhand right that lands on Jonson's shoulder, as Jonson tries to avoid the shot.
Jonson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Sullivan swivels and escapes.
Sullivan falls off balance throwing a combination
and Jonson moves into the clinch.
Knees to the body from Jonson.
Jonson taking a breather.
Sullivan lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Jonson tries to pull guard but Sullivan won't allow it.
Jonson tries to stall but Sullivan uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Sullivan scores with a hook to the body.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Sullivan.
Jonson can't break the clinch.
Sullivan keeps control of Jonson as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Jonson wants to get back to striking at distance but Sullivan won't allow it.
Sullivan wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Jonson fails to pull guard.
Kenneth Sullivan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dwayne Jonson.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jonson changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Sullivan fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Sullivan looks to land a right hand but Jonson moved out of range.
Jonson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sullivan throws out the jab.
Kenneth Sullivan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jonson dives in and grabs Sullivan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sullivan pushes down on Jonson's head and hops out.
Jonson fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Jonson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Jonson looks winded!
Sullivan throws a nice looking combination but Jonson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Sullivan lands the left hand.
Jonson moves out of range of the strikes.
Sullivan rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Jonson counters with a body kick that stops Sullivan in his tracks momentarily.
Sullivan jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Sullivan misses with a looping right.
Nice sprawl there from Sullivan as Jonson shoots in.
Kenneth Sullivan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sullivan moves into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sullivan has had enough of the clinch but Jonson keeps him there for the moment.
Sullivan lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Sullivan tries to circle away but Jonson has him pinned against the cage.
Sullivan digs a right hand into Jonson's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Jonson's gas tank.
Jonson has Sullivan pressed against the cage, preventing Sullivan from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sullivan working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Jonson is looking to control Sullivan's arms but Sullivan gets an underhook and turns him. Now Jonson has his back to the cage.
Jonson tries to circle away but Sullivan has him pinned against the cage.
Sullivan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sullivan ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Sullivan connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Sullivan bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Jonson's head.
Jonson takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Jonson is rocked!
Sullivan walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Jonson drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Sullivan swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Jonson's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kenneth Sullivan!
