The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crabby Jef connects with a jab.
Xander just misses with a punch to the body.
Xander throws a nice inside leg kick.

Crabby Jef blocks a leg kick.
A head kick misses from Xander.
Xander moves out of range of the strikes.
Crabby Jef jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Xander connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Crabby Jef momentarily.
Xander tries to clinch up.
The fight stays on the outside here - Xander looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Dj Crabby Jef seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Crabby Jef lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Xander throws a lazy uppercut
and Xander takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Crabby Jef misses with a hook. Xander ducked under it nicely.

Xander has taken the fight to the clinch.

Xander is pressed up against the cage. Crabby Jef has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Xander down to the mat. Xander avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Xander dodges the punch combination from Crabby Jef.
Xander tries to close the distance and clinch but Crabby Jef swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Xander gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Crabby Jef tries to free his leg and advance position but Xander is retaining full guard.
Xander wants to sweep here but Crabby Jef controlling him for the moment.
Crabby Jef throws a strike but Xander rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Xander stays in close to Crabby Jef's body and controls the position.

Xander wants to stand and escape but instead Crabby Jef has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Crabby Jef is trying to control the position but Xander postures up.

Crabby Jef is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Xander has his hands clasped together but Crabby Jef extends an breaks Xander's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Crabby Jef.
