Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lee Donghae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Woods (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Woods comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Before I forget kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Lee Donghae has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

6 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jason Woods! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Chris Saunders and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Donghae keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Donghae looks to land a combination but Woods avoids it well. Donghae closes the distance and lands a one-two. Woods looks to clinch enabling Donghae to counter with a crisp jab. Jason Woods seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Woods closes the distance looking to clinch and Donghae connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. The fight stays on the outside here - Woods looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Woods tries to clinch but fails miserably and Donghae counters with a lovely straight right hand! It looks like Jason Woods has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Woods darts in trying to clinch and Donghae connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Woods closes the distance but Donghae moves to the side and Donghae counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Donk. Donghae catches Woods right on the button with a cross. Woods tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Donghae blocks a jab. Woods doesn't manage to clinch there - Donghae circles away.

Woods moves into range and clinches up with Donghae. Woods swings wildly with an uppercut but Donghae uses good head movement to avoid it. Woods closes the distance and pushes Donghae back into the cage. Woods prevents Donghae from breaking the clinch. Donghae prevents a body shot from Woods. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Woods tries a body shot but Donghae blocks it.

Lee Donghae dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jason Woods's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

That's one minute gone in the round. Woods walks straight into a right hand from Donghae - that's dropped him! Donghae jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Woods from any more punishment! Woods complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Lee Donghae! After winning the bout, Lee Donghae thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
