Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Peter Knapp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hanley Ramirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Knapp comes to the cage accompanied by Chevelle - The Red. Ramirez has chosen Take it in Blood -- Nas as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knapp misses with a hook. Ramirez ducked under it nicely.
Knapp uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Ramirez has time to react.
A bone on bone clash there as Ramirez blocks the leg kick.
Ramirez misses with an attempted mid kick.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Ramirez, right into the meat.
Ramirez tries to clinch there but Knapp circles away.
Ramirez moves in looking to clinch but Knapp pushes him off.
Ramirez avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Knapp displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ramirez throws out the jab.
Ramirez on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Ramirez punishes Knapp's body with a nice straight punch.
Knapp fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Ramirez is out of range.
Ramirez gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Ramirez is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Knapp slips a jab and a cross from Ramirez.
Knapp throws a lazy right hand but Ramirez sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Ramirez misses with a looping right.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ramirez throws an off balance right hand
and Knapp scores with a counter punch that sends Ramirez to the canvas! Knapp smells blood - he's punishing Ramirez with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Ramirez has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Peter Knapp!
