Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chris Seamon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matinho Krol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matinho Krol is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Chris Seamon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Matinho Krol!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Chris Saunders and Colin Fray.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krol misses with a few strikes there.
Some wild striking there from Krol.
Seamon shoots in for a takedown but Krol shows good takedown defense.
Krol fails to land with a series of punches.
Matinho Krol seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Krol misses with the combination.
Seamon scores with a push kick.
Krol is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Krol looks to land a combination but Seamon avoids it well.
Krol looks winded!

Seamon closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Krol quickly recovers to half guard.
Seamon content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Seamon connects with a nice short shot to Krol's temple.
Krol pushes Seamon off looking to stand but Seamon dives back in and keeps control.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Seamon stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Krol throws a combination that misses

and Seamon moves into the clinch.

Seamon pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Seamon misses with a series of wild punches.

Seamon fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Krol, pushing him back against the cage.
Seamon using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Krol has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Seamon manages to break the clinch.
Krol throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Seamon counters with a nice double leg into side control. Krol won't be happy with that.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Seamon wants to control but Krol is keeping him busy.
Seamon in side control, just content to control the action for now.

Krol takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Krol pushes Seamon away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Seamon gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Seamon working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Seamon has an Americana. Krol didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Seamon is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Seamon hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
