And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Alec Ball and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Dondarrion misses the target.
Dondarrion tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Dondarrion misses with a wild body shot.
Dondarrion swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Buchanan.
Dondarrion misses the jab.
Buchanan takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Dondarrion clinches.
Buchanan changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Dondarrion fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Buchanan tries for a takedown but Dondarrion sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Buchanan ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dondarrion moves away.
Buchanan throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Dondarrion displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Buchanan.
Berric Dondarrion has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paul Buchanan.
Dondarrion catches Buchanan with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dondarrion connects with a solid leg kick.

Buchanan shoots in and gets a takedown into Dondarrion's guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Buchanan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Dondarrion knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Buchanan on the ground.
Dondarrion has momentary wrist control but Buchanan slips an elbow through the middle.
Buchanan thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Buchanan works a leg free and moves into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dondarrion wants to get back to full guard.
Dondarrion avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Buchanan.
Buchanan seems to be working for a kimura but Dondarrion defends the submission attempt.
Buchanan is looking for a kimura here.

Dondarrion holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Buchanan is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Dondarrion is just riding it out for now. Buchanan eventually gives up the hold.
Buchanan wants to take a breather but Dondarrion is having none of it.
Buchanan looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Buchanan wants to work for an arm triangle but Dondarrion is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Buchanan is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Dondarrion defends it well.

Dondarrion tries to roll over but Buchanan keeps him under control.
Buchanan is thwarting Dondarrion's attempts to control the position.
Buchanan has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Dondarrion defend it? Buchanan steps over the head and cranks it - Dondarrion is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Buchanan!
