Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Noah Cd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Corbett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Corbett has chosen Men at Work - Down Under as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Nathan Corbett has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Noah Cd's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
32 - 20 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Noah Cd! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nathan Corbett! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Colin Fray and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Corbett lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Cd steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Corbett. Cd takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Cd tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Corbett is able to avoid easily. Corbett misses with a body kick. Corbett chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Nathan Corbett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Cd checks a leg kick. Corbett wants to clinch up but Cd keeps it at a distance. Corbett scores with a sloppy right hand. Cd should have avoided that one. Corbett lands a head shot. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Cd misses with the body kick and Corbett counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Corbett is looking to clinch but Cd is avoiding it.

That's one minute gone in the round. Corbett throws a right hand that Cd ducks under and follows up with a left that Cd also avoids with ease. The fighters circling - Cd throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Cd throws a nice outside leg kick. Cd circles away from the clinch attempt.
Corbett throws a head kick that Cd semi-blocks.
Cd swats away the attempt to clinch by Corbett. Cd throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Corbett counters with a leg kick. Cd circles away from the clinch attempt.

Corbett looks to throw the jab but Cd is out of range. Cd lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
It looks like Nathan Corbett has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Corbett tries to score with a low kick but Cd moves his leg out of the way.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cd scores with a jab to the jaw. A chopping leg kick lands by Cd. Corbett ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cd moves away. Corbett fails with an attempt to clinch.

Cd throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Corbett thows a left - swing and a miss! Corbett throws a head kick but Cd moves out of range.
Corbett sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Corbett closes the distance looking to clinch and Cd counters with a lovely shot to the body. Corbett tries to clinch and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

and Cd counters with a nice kick to the body. Cd connects with an inside leg kick. Cd pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Corbett is looking to score with low kicks. Corbett chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Corbett throws a lazy right hand but Cd sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Corbett forces Cd back against the cage and clinches. Corbett trying to control the position but instead, Cd has worked for underhooks and has pushed Corbett into the cage. Corbett lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Corbett has Cd pressed against the cage, preventing Cd from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Cd breaks the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Corbett throws a hook to the side of Cd's head but Cd sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Cd circles away from the clinch attempt and Cd counters with a one-two to the body. Corbett takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cd will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Corbett thows a left - swing and a miss! That kick from Cd tenderised Corbett's leg. Corbett is trying to keep his angry face on. Cd blocks a jab. Cd ducks under a wild hook from Corbett. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Cd is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Cd ducks down and throws a hook to the body. A head kick misses from Cd. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Nathan Corbett will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Nathan Corbett's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Nathan Corbett seems to be getting the better of the standup. Corbett lands a nice hook to Cd's body. Cd takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Cd throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Corbett fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Cd thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Corbett if he has to take too many more of those.

That took the wind out of him momentarily. Cd lands with an overhand left. Cd is looking to wear down Corbett with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Corbett blocks a low kick nicely. Jab, jab by Cd - just one landing. Corbett uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Cd. Corbett scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. A swing and a miss from Corbett. Cd takes a swing at Corbett's ribcage but misses. Cd scores with a sloppy punch to the body. That's three minutes gone in the round. Cd checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. A good leg kick by Cd. Cd keeps the fight on the outside. Corbett tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cd paws at him with a jab and circles away. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Corbett checks a leg kick. Corbett moves out of range of the body kick. Corbett tries to clinch but Cd is having none of it. Cd throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Corbett tries to clinch but Cd moves out of range. Cd fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Corbett on the side of the head. Cd dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Corbett scores with a nice head shot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cd scoring well with a low kick there.

Cd throws a leg kick which misses Corbett's front leg but catches the back leg as Corbett tries to avoid it. Corbett thumps Cd with a low kick. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Corbett is looking to clinch but Cd is avoiding it.
Corbett tries to clinch and Cd counters with a leg kick. Nice defenses there by Corbett. Corbett walks forward, straight into a front kick from Cd. Corbett feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Cds jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Corbett has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Cd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cd takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Corbett's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Corbett tries to land a front kick but Cd steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Corbett takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Noah Cd will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Nathan Corbett's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Cd goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. A slow jab from Corbett misses its intended target. Corbett swings and misses with a hook to the body.

A head kick from Cd lands but Corbett takes it in his stride. Cd lands a nice shot to the body.

Cd throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Corbett connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Crunch! Cd slams his shin into Corbett's torso. Corbett throws the left hand but Cd avoids the punch easily. Corbett throws a shot to the body.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Cd takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Cd tries to land a body kick and Corbett counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Cd misses with a hook. Corbett ducked under it nicely. Corbett walks into a stiff left hand from Cd. Cd slips a jab from Corbett. Cd takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Cd fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Corbett checks it well. Nice body kick from Cd. Corbett checks a low kick from Cd. Cd scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Cd feints and then cracks Corbett's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Corbett down. Corbett fails in his attempt to clinch. Corbett doesn't manage to clinch there - Cd circles away.
Cd tries to keep at a distance but Corbett has taken the fight into the clinch. Corbett tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Cd's elbow. Corbett misses with a short punch on the inside. Cd is trying to break free. Cd pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Cd feints a jab promting Corbett to slip. Cd then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Corbett slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Cd lands a nice hook to Corbett's body. Corbett takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Cd looks for the body kick but Corbett saw that one coming.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Noah Cd. I think Cd has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
