Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Karri Vahti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alvaro Salazar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Salazar has chosen Don Omar ft Tego Calderon - Bandolero as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Igor Prikhodko and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vahti keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Vahti smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
It looks like Alvaro Salazar has been cut.
Vahti jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Vahti lands a leg kick that knocks Salazar off balance momentarily.
Vahti throws a hook to the side of Salazar's head but Salazar sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Vahti throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Salazar on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Vahti. Vahti obviously looking to wear him down.
Salazar throws a combination that misses
and Vahti counters with a stiff right hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Vahti bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Vahti shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Salazar eats them both and turns towards Vahti to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
No joy there for Vahti, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Vahti, right into the meat.
Vahti's corner calls for a 1-2. Vahti obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Salazar throws a big shot that misses.
Vahti clinches up with Salazar and pushes him back against the ropes.
Salazar lands a shot to the body.
Salazar decides to pull guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Vahti would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Salazar is adopting a defensive guard.
Salazar had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Vahti defends it easily.
Salazar is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Vahti is aware though and is defending well.
Salazar is working an open guard so Vahti takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Salazar.
Vahti connects with an inside leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Vahti feints and then cracks Salazar's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Salazar down.
Vahti buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Vahti lands a high kick!
Vahti lands a jab to the head.
Salazar takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Salazar tries to move into range but Vahti moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Vahti lands with a straight right. Salazar didn't see that one coming.
Salazar connects with the punch.
Salazar closes this distance looking for a takedown but Vahti circles away.
Karri Vahti has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alvaro Salazar.
Salazar is looking to chop away at Vahti's legs.
Vahti displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Salazar throws out the jab.
A left lands for Vahti.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Salazar.
Salazar looks winded!
Salazar shoots for a double leg takedown but Vahti sprawls well. He's pushed Salazar's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Salazar thows a left - swing and a miss!
Salazar with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Vahti to score with a decent uppercut.
Salazar's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Vahti connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Salazar scrambles back to his feet.
Vahti lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Vahti lands a left and a right that send Salazar crashing to the mat, dazed. Vahti thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Salazar is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Vahti, right into the meat.
Salazar is still on wobbly legs! Can Vahti finish him?
Vahti digs a good body shot into Salazar's ribs.
A solid leg kick lands there for Vahti.
Salazar's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Vahti cracks the inside of Salazar's front leg.
Vahti throws a monster overhand right that drops Salazar! Vahti follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Karri Vahti!
Our winner, Karri Vahti, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
