Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Muniek Ziomek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Ramirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ramirez has chosen Megadeth-Trust as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paulsen Ambrosius and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Ramirez enables Ziomek to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Ramirez manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Ramirez pulls Ziomek in close to his closed guard and prevents Ziomek from doing any damage or advancing position.
Ramirez looking for a sweep. Not yet Ramirez, not yet.
Ramirez is looking to stand up but Ziomek isn't so interested in that idea.
Ramirez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ziomek. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ramirez wants to get back to his feet but Ziomek is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Ramirez not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Alex Ramirez wasn't active enough on the ground.
Ziomek shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Ziomek was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ziomek working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Ramirez wants to control but Ziomek postures up.

Ziomek looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Ziomek is breathing heavily.
Ziomek thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Ramirez is trying to get back to half guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
You can see the frustration on Ramirez's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Ramirez tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ziomek wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Ramirez is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Ziomek is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ramirez is just riding it out for now. Ziomek eventually gives up the hold.

Ramirez is pressing down on Ziomek's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Ramirez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ziomek gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Ziomek is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Ramirez is trying to control the position but Ziomek postures up.
Ziomek has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Ramirez to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Ziomek is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Ramirez pulls down on the head and he's put Ziomek to sleep! This one is all over!
