Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Johannes Maanpohja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mahti Otso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Otso has chosen Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. This should be a great matchup!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maanpohja fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Maanpohja shoots in and drives through. Otso sprawls well.
Maanpohja drives through with a takedown into Otso's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Otso seems keen to control Maanpohja's posture.
Otso keeping moving, preventing Maanpohja from controlling successfully.

Otso is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Maanpohja wants to work for an arm triangle but Otso is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Otso is not content to let Maanpohja control the position.
Maanpohja has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Otso has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Will Maanpohja go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
