The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Harold gets tackled into the cage by Johnson. Johnson maintains the clinch.
Harold is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Johnson pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Harold has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Johnson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Harold turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Harold manages to end up in side control.

Harold has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Johnson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Harold. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Harold has hold of Johnson's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Johnson tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Harold cranks the arm and Johnson screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Johnson, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
