Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Ham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Stroud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jeff Stroud is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alex Ham!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jeff Stroud!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stroud really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ham. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ham takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ham working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Ham winds up and cracks Stroud with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Ham scores with a big shot! Stroud's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Stroud! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alex Ham!
