5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Victor Stevens! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Arvi Lind and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! VonFoster doesn't succeed with the takedown letting Stevens counter with a right hand. VonFoster tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Stevens manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Stevens closes the distance and clinches. Stevens using the Thai plumb to throw knees but VonFoster has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

VonFoster gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Stevens regains guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. VonFoster passes Stevens's left leg - he's now in half guard. VonFoster is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Stevens defends it well. VonFoster looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Stevens wants to improve his position but VonFoster is controlling well.
VonFoster really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stevens has a hand on VonFoster's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. VonFoster takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. VonFoster looking to ground and pound but Stevens is blocking nicely. VonFoster looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stevens wants to control but VonFoster is having none of it. VonFoster looking to control but Stevens is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Stevens tries to control VonFoster's body but VonFoster pushes him off. Stevens squirms to his side and now VonFoster has his back! VonFoster sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Stevens taps out!
