Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tsatsu Gomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raz Matazz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matazz has chosen Tool - Eulogy as his entrance music. Raz Matazz told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Wesley Smith and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomi shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Matazz pinned against the cage. Matazz gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Gomi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Matazz tries to avoid it but Gomi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Matazz to the ground. Matazz escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Matazz doesn't manage to clinch there - Gomi circles away.
Matazz tries to sprawl but Gomi drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Matazz is staying active underneath Gomi, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Gomi drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Matazz dives on top into guard.

Matazz throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Gomi closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Matazz did well to prevent Gomi getting side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Gomi seems to be working for a kimura but Matazz defends the submission attempt.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Gomi is looking to take a break and control but Matazz is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Matazz's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Matazz duly obliges.
Horrible takedown by Gomi or perhaps it was just good defense by Matazz which made him look bad.

Oooooh!!! Matazz has knocked Gomi down with a huge combo! Matazz steps away and waves a wobbly Gomi back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Matazz lands a big right hand that sends Gomi crashing to the mat! Matazz stays standing though and waves Gomi back to his feet!
Oh Gomi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Matazz is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Gomi flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Gomi is out cold! Matazz holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Raz Matazz!
A relieved looking Raz Matazz thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
