Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rony Mariano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Yauch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mariano comes to the cage accompanied by So Far Away. Yauch has chosen No Sleep Till Brooklyn as his entrance music. Adam Yauch will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rony Mariano !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Adam Yauch!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mariano manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Yauch on his heels. He'll look to pass Yauch's guard now, I'm sure.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Mariano trying to control the position from guard on top but Yauch is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Yauch is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Mariano is controlling him.
Mariano pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Yauch is keeping the position for now.
Mariano wants to control from the top but Yauch keeps moving.
Yauch wants to stand and escape but Mariano is having none of it.

Mariano postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Rony Mariano just wasn't active enough.
Mariano misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Mariano tries to move into range but Yauch moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Mariano shoots in for a takedown but Yauch shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Yauch bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Mariano 's head.
Nice uppercut lands for Yauch. That snapped Mariano 's head back.
Mariano throws a left and a right that both miss
and Yauch cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Mariano fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Yauch avoids it really well and circles away.
Good standup being displayed there by Yauch as he connects with a hook.

Yauch scores with a body shot.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Yauch works Mariano 's body with a nice hook.
Mariano throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Yauch counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Mariano is breathing heavily.
Mariano on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Rony Mariano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mariano shoots and misses
and Yauch counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Mariano thinking.

A lazy left from Yauch finds it's target.
Adam Yauch is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Mariano closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Mariano is rocked!
Yauch misses with a looping right.
Oh Mariano is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mariano slips under a jab from Yauch.
Yauch throws out a loose jab but Mariano uses good head movement to avoid it.
Yauch is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Mariano hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
