Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Frank Fister!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Devin Houle!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Alan Glass and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fister gets a double leg takedown into Houle's guard.
Fister wants to control from the top but Houle keeps moving.
We're going to have a standup here because Frank Fister wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Houle tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fister sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Houle somewhat.
Houle is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Fister.
Houle gets caught flat footed, as Fister shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Houle has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Fister should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Houle has tightened it up now! Fister should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
