Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Roy Peters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peters comes to the cage accompanied by Sid Vicious - My Way. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Roy Peters! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bobby Brown! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Donatello Bradman and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brown moves in looking to clinch but Peters pushes him off. Brown tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Brown fails in his attempt to clinch. Brown clinches. Brown can't get the takedown.
Peters tries for a takedown. No joy.
Peters wants a takedown but no success here.
Peters wants to stall.
Brown lands a right hand. Peters goes for a takedown in the clinch but Brown prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Roy Peters. That's going to take a lot out of him. Brown goes for a takedown attempt but Peters pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Brown wants to clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Peters shoots in but Brown avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Peters just misses with a punch to the body.
Brown tries to clinch up but Peters circles away and keeps his distance. The fight stays on the outside here - Brown looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Brown with a poor takedown and Peters decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Brown's guard. Brown tries to land a sweep but no joy. Peters stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brown swivels though and keeps the full guard. Peters trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Brown keeping full guard, as Peters tries to pass. Brown is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Peters wants to get back to full guard. Peters is doing well to control the position and prevent Brown from advancing to side control. Peters makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Peters. Brown stands up from Peters's guard - Brown perhaps looking for a knockout. Brown tries to clinch but fails miserably and Peters counters with a single leg into guard. Brown didn't expect that.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Peters preventing the sweep. Peters postures up.
Brown looks gassed! Brown keeping moving, preventing Peters from controlling successfully. Peters will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Brown trying to keep a closed guard but Peters is proving a slippery customer.
Peters trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Peters showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Peters throws a strike but Brown rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Peters is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Brown shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Peters counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Peters misses with a head shot. Brown uses the momentum to regain guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Roy Peters dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Peters is pressing down on Brown's thigh, looking to free his foot. Brown is holding on for now. Peters is working hard here to advance position. Brown looks like he's trying to stand up.

That's one minute gone in the round. Peters is tying to control. Brown wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Peters throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Brown misses with a takedown attempt and Peters decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Brown's guard. Peters pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Brown is keeping the position for now. Peters prevents Brown from getting back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Peters is looking to work some ground and pound but Brown has wrist control. Roy Peters overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Peters throwing strikes but missing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Peters trying to control but Brown is working from the bottom. Peters lands a couple of elbows. Peters working some strikes from top position. Peters slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Brown is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Peters trying to control the position but Brown is working away. Peters taking a break here but Brown is having none of it and regains half guard. Brown is trying to stand back up but Peters is controlling him
Peters wants to pass the guard but Brown is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Peters prevents Brown from standing back up.
Brown is looking for a sweep. Peters is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Brown darts in trying to clinch and Peters counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Peters wants to pass the guard but Brown is defending well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Peters feints and as Brown raises his hands in defense, Peters changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Brown wants to stand and escape but Peters is having none of it. Peters wants to pass the guard but Brown is keeping the position. Peters is in close to Brown's body, working some short punches and elbows. Brown looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Peters puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Peters is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Brown is trying to maintain the position but Peters is very close to passing his half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Peters not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Peters missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Peters shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Brown's guard. Peters is looking to work some ground and pound but Brown has wrist control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brown trying to keep a closed guard but Peters is proving a slippery customer.
Brown might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Peters kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Peters drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Brown dives on top into guard. Brown trying to control but Peters is working from the bottom. Peters wants to sweep here but Brown controlling him for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Peters is controlling Brown's posture. Brown stopping the sweep attempt from Peters. Peters on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Peters tries to get out of the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Brown being controlled here momentarily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Peters is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Brown misses with a double jab
and Peters counters with a nice double leg into side control. Brown won't be happy with that. Peters is looking to take a break and control but Brown is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Peters misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
And that's the end of the fight! Roy Peters showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Peters, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
