The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis scores with a jab. Alot acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Alot looks to land a combination but Lewis avoids it well.

Alot rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lewis moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Lewis throws a series of punches but Alot avoids them all with ease.

Alot stands and steps away. Lewis gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
The crowd cheers as Lewis lands an impressive looking overhand right. Alot doesn't seem phased though.
Alot tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Alot gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Alot escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Alot moves into range and clinches up with Lewis.
Alot keeps control of Lewis as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Lewis wants to get back to striking at distance but Alot won't allow it.

Alot breaks the clinch.
Alot scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Alot is breathing heavily.

Alot shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
You get the feeling that Lewis really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Alot looking to secure an arm triangle but Lewis defends it well.

Lewis is trying to stand.
Lewis is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Alot throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Lewis is trying to stand.
BOOM! Alot connects with a massive shot to the dome!
You get the feeling that Lewis really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Lewis really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Alot. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Alot punching from mount but Lewis doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Lewis trying desperately to get to his feet.
Alot raining down shots from the mount!
Alot breaks from Lewis's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Alot trying to control but he's not successful this time.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Alot throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Lewis because Alot loaded up on that one.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Alot landing punches.
Alot looking to ground and pound but Lewis is blocking nicely.
Alot thowing shots but they're missing.
Lewis is in a horrible position here. Alot smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Alot looking to finish with strikes here!
Alot lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ivan Alot dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

and Lewis counters with a left and a right that hurts Alot! He wobbles and falls to the floor - he's in big trouble! Lewis jumps into full mount!

Lewis get's back to his feet.
Oh Alot is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lewis moves out of range as Alot throws a body kick.
Alot fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Lewis is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Alot hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
