Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nikolai Peterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mojo Nixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peterson comes to the ring accompanied by Blind Eye Halo. Nixon has chosen Like a Boss as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mojo Nixon! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Radbod Blank and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peterson misses with a hook. Nixon ducked under it nicely. Some wild striking there from Nixon.
Peterson moves out of range as Nixon strikes. Nixon waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Peterson . A swing and a miss from Nixon. A jab from Nixon misses. Nice uppercut lands for Peterson . That snapped Nixon's head back.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Nikolai Peterson just wasn't active enough. Peterson lands with a nice body punch. Nixon misses with a hook. Peterson ducked under it nicely. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Nixon closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Nixon is keen to just control but Peterson is a slippery customer. Peterson is looking to control Nixon's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Peterson avoid being mounted? Nixon seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Peterson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Peterson looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Nixon stalling.
