Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between James Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Goro Utini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Pimp C. Skrypture, C$krilla ft. Bun B & The Isleys - One Day. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Utini throws a right and a left that Jones avoids nicely.
Jones swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Utini just misses with a punch to the body.
Jones fails to land with a series of punches.
A clash of legs there as Jones blocks the low kick.
Jones with a body punch. A glancing blow.
James Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Utini finds it's way round the side to connect with Jones's head.
Utini just misses with a punch to the body.
Jones throws a jab when Utini was well out of range.
Utini swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Utini tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Jones feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Utini sprawling to the canvas! Utini rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Jones finish him?!
Utini is rocked!
It looks like Goro Utini has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jones throws a sloppy head kick and Utini moves out of range easily.
Utini is still on wobbly legs! Can Jones finish him?
Jones feints and then cracks Utini's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Utini down.
Jones connects with a body shot.
Utini looks winded!
Jones throws a quick inside leg kick.
Jones wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Utini seems to have recovered his senses.
Jones scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Utini takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Utini bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Jones gets a clinch.
Jones lands a left hand.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Utini drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Jones gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Jones lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Utini or not.
Jones scores with a shoulder strike.
Jones works on Utini's body with a couple of short punches.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Jones lands a nice elbow.
Jones unloads a knee to the mid-section. Utini lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jones lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Jones lands an elbow inside that Utini shrugs off.
Jones digs a right hand underneath Utini's ribcage. Utini let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Clinched against the cage, Jones lands a big elbow that drops Utini! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Utini is complaining that he's OK but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). James Jones!
James Jones gave a mention to TFP Graphics - Pit Inc in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
